At its Ordinary Meeting held on 28 October 2025, Council resolved to place the Updated Code of Meeting Practice on public exhibition for a period of 42 days.
The intent of the Uralla Shire Council Code of Meeting Practice 2025 is to ensure council meetings are conducted transparently, ethically, and effectively in line with community expectations. Its purpose is to implement the mandatory provisions of the Office of Local Government’s Model Code of Meeting Practice, while allowing for local adaptations that uphold lawful and orderly decision-making.

Council is committed to transparency in its decision-making. Please note that under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, submissions may be made publicly available unless there is an overriding public interest consideration against disclosure. Submissions may also be released if required by law.

Submissions are used for the purpose of considering the specific document on Public Exhibition and become a record of Council.
