Operational Plan 2025-2026

The Operational Plan 2025/2026 represents the "boots on the ground" actions that Uralla Shire Council will undertake to deliver the commitments of the Uralla Shire Council Delivery Program 2026-2029 and to progress the aspirations and goals of the Community Strategic Plan. It also provides the community with the proposed budget for the coming year together with a Statement of Revenue (how and from where Council will derive income to support and deliver its services) and the proposed fees and charges for 2025/2026.

Operations Plan is made up of 5 parts being:

• Parts 1 & 2 Operational Plan (Introduction and Actions)
• Part 3 Operational Plan (Draft Budget)
• Part 4 Operational Plan (Draft Revenue Statement)
• Part 5 Operational Plan (Draft Fees and Charges)

General Manager Toni Averay notes that in this plan the focus remains on what matters most – delivering quality services, supporting our community and planning for a sustainable future. The 2025-2026 Operational Plan proposes direct initiatives that will support the key Delivery Program objectives of community wellbeing, sustainability, sound environmental stewardship and effective governance. We are pleased to present the draft Operational Plan 2025/2026 to our community and we invite all residents to review the plan and share their feedback.

Public comments will be accepted until close of Business on 13 June 2024. All feedback will be reported to Council to assist them in finalising and adopting the Operational Plan, budget and fees and charges for 2025/2026. Residents are able to view a copy of the document on Council’s website, at Bundarra and Uralla libraries and the Customer Service Centre adjacent to Council Chambers in Salisbury St Uralla.

Copies have also been distributed among the general stores in the network of villages that make up the Shire.
