Asset Management

Council manages a wide range of public assets and essential services that shape daily life, including roads, parks, buildings, water and wastewater systems, drainage, waste management, and aged care. These assets and services are vital to the health, wellbeing, and connectivity of our community.

To maintain and improve them effectively, we use a structured asset management approach to plan, monitor, and invest wisely - ensuring infrastructure remains safe, reliable, and fit for purpose while delivering services efficiently and affordably.

As part of our commitment to transparency and community involvement, we’re running a series of surveys to better understand how residents use and value these assets and services. This is your opportunity to share what matters most and where improvements are needed.

Transport Survey

Transport assets are some of Council's most important and valuable assets. They are also among the most expensive to maintain, renew and upgrade. As part of updating the Transport Asset Management Plan, Council is seeking community feedback to better understand:

• Community input on the level of service Council should provide for roads and footpaths
• The transport issues that matter most to our community
• How available funding should be prioritised across the transport network

Your feedback will help Council establish appropriate service levels and make informed decisions about future maintenance, renewal and upgrade programs. This will ensure that Council's investment in transport assets aligns with community priorities and available resources.
