At the commencement of each now Council term the elected Council prepares a Delivery Program which outlines the focus and commitment of the council during their term of office. The combined focus and activities in the Delivery Program progress us towards the goals in the Community Strategic Plan and establish a basis to measure the progress and success of the elected Council during their term.
Uralla Shire Council is pleased to present the draft USC Delivery Program for 2026-2029 for public exhibition. The draft Delivery Program acknowledges issues such as water security, housing affordability and adapting to climate change, and sets a clear focus on optimising Council’s input and influence in these areas. The Delivery Program acknowledges our communities desire to foster community well-being, establish and maintain a sustainable economy and deliver sound environmental stewardship.
We invite all residents to review the program and share their feedback. Public comments will be accepted until close of Business on 11 June 2024. All feedback will be reported to Council to assist them in finalising and adopting their Delivery Program for 2026-2029.
Residents are able to view a copy of the document on Council’s website, at Bundarra and Uralla libraries and the Customer Service Centre adjacent to Council Chambers in Salisbury St Uralla.
Copies have also been distributed among the general stores in the network of villages that make up the Shire.
