At its Ordinary Meeting on 22 July 2025, Council resolved to place the Draft Investment Policy 2025 on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.
This Policy outlines Uralla Shire Council’s approach to managing public funds responsibly. It is designed to preserve capital, maintain liquidity, and achieve competitive investment returns, while ensuring all investment decisions are made in accordance with legislative and ethical standards. The Policy provides clear guidance to support sound financial governance and transparent decision-making.

Council invites feedback from residents, community members, and stakeholders. Submissions can be made via:

Please note that under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, submissions may be made publicly available unless there is an overriding public interest consideration against disclosure. Submissions may also be released if required by law.
